Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes DLC Delayed, Sparking Anticipation Among Fans

This year has been exceptional for enthusiasts of Japanese role-playing games, with one standout being Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, a spiritual successor to Suikoden that made its debut in April. As fans eagerly anticipate additional content, specifically the downloadable content that promises three new narrative packs co-written by the late Suikoden creator Yoshitaka Murayama, there are updates they may find disappointing.

Previously outlined in a roadmap by Rabbit & Bear Studios, the first DLC pack was expected to have launched by now, but that is not the case. The developers have recently communicated through Kickstarter that the project will be postponed, and they have not provided a new launch date. This hints that fans may face a longer wait than anticipated for the new content. The three planned additional scenarios for the game, featuring characters "Marisa," "Seign," and "Markus," will mark the final contributions made by Murayama himself.

The team expresses their hope that players will soon experience these scenarios. We remain hopeful for a brief postponement and will update the community once more information is available. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is currently playable on PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox, and is also available through Game Pass.
