Dave the Diver Expands Horizon with Ichiban's Holiday Content Pack Crossover

Exciting developments are underway for fans of Dave the Diver, a delightful roguelike adventure created by Mintrocket. Known for its inventive crossovers, the game has previously collaborated with titles such as Dredge, Guilty Gear Strive, and even Godzilla. During a recent State of Play presentation, Sony revealed that the next crossover will tie in with the highly anticipated Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza, which is set to feature a demo on February 13.

The new content, titled Dave the Diver - Ichiban's Holiday Content Pack, is expected to roll out in April and will introduce a fun new gameplay element. Players can look forward to encountering Ichiban Kasuga along with other familiar faces, who will participate in fresh 2D beat 'em up segments. Despite the addition of these new mechanics, the primary objective of the game will remain focused on discovering new sushi recipes for the restaurant.

The announcement highlighted availability for PS5 and PS4, however, it is logical to expect that the content will be accessible across various platforms once it launches in April 2025. Don’t forget, the preview for Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza will be available starting February 13.
